Derrick Baker Sr.

The management and staff of Community Mortuary, LLC extend our most sincere condolences as we announce the passing of Derrick Baker Sr., 58 of Tifton, GA on February 10, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Derrick Baker Sr. was born on July 4, 1965, to Henry and Kathleen Baker Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie Lee and Zilphia Gibson, Henry and Delzena Baker Sr., and one son, Derrick Baker Jr. 

Derrick leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Ola Baker; children, Dineka Durr (Darren), Arkimberly Baker (Elexis Williams), Brandon Griffin (Joanna), Shrebua Nelson, Carneshia Holloman (Horace), Whitney Baker, Kadesha Allen, Vontressa Bailey, and Christopher Cooper; parents, Henry and Kathleen Baker Jr.; siblings, Michael (Judy) Gibson, Larry (Nilda) Carter Jr., Exzavier (Erica) Neloms, and Renetta Baker; twenty (20) grandchildren; two (2) great-grandchildren; god-daughter, Kinsley Johnson. A host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and a multitude of cousins and friends.
