The management and staff of Community Mortuary extends our prayers of sympathy as we announce the transition of Lillie Brown, 69 of Tifton, Ga on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Rehabilitation Center of South Ga. Ms. Lillie Dean Brown was born in Worth County on January 28, 1954, to the late Ell Brown, Sr. and Ruby Stewart Brown. She lived a life full of love for her family and all who she came in contact with. She wore many hats, including that of being the caregiver for the family to serving as a mother figure to many in the community.

She loved music, cooking for her family, doing word search puzzles, and watching television. Ms. Brown was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Ty Ty, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Brown was also preceded in death by two children; her siblings, Ronie Berry, Katie Lou Thomas, Ruby Dean Brown, Jackie Brown, James Brown, Jr., and
Lester Brown; and a sister-in-law, Katie Mae Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Geraldine Brown, Cynthia Denise Hightower, and Adela Brown, all of Tifton, Georgia; siblings, Jimmy L. Brown of Ty Ty, Georgia,
Lavern Brown of Sylvester, Georgia, and Emmae Pledger of Tifton, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Barbara Brown of Tifton, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
