The management and staff of Community Mortuary, LLC. - Tifton extends our deepest sympathy as we announce the transition of Rosa Lee Thomas, 58 of Baxley, Ga on August 5, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Rosa Lee Russell Thomas was born on October 12, 1964 in Baxley, Georgia to the late Arcelia Givens and Willie Mae Russell. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, George Thomas; a son, Brandon (Monique) Russell; stepsons, Kenneth and George Thomas; a stepdaughter, Tasha Thomas; twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; a brother, Arcelia Mitchell; five brother-in-laws and four sister-in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
